Dictate with your voice, faster and more accurately right in your favorite apps.

Heynds is a voice-controlled AI assistant that makes it easy to create well-formulated texts without technical knowledge. You dictate in real-time and immediately get correct and structured text in the apps you already use.
Meanwhile, the system improves spelling, grammar, and tone, and you can build your own commands and templates for your personal workflow. The tool supports multiple languages and gives you full control over your tasks, no data is automatically saved. Heynds 1.0.0 is a Rust version for macOS 26 on Apple Silicon. Transformations require an internet connection, because selected text and your own instructions are sent to Heynds' authenticated service. Settings open in their own window. Version 1.0.1 improves the shortcut so that a double press is recognized reliably, and you get an error message when selected text cannot be captured. There is also an unsigned preview for Windows x64 with online voice. Local transcription remains available only on macOS. From version 1.1.0, local speech recognition uses the Qwen3-ASR 0.6B model instead of Parakeet. Before each local transcription, Heynds reads the name of the active app and the text in the focused window, so that product names, identifiers and ticket keys are spelled correctly. The context stays on the computer. The model is downloaded once, about 850 MB, and if you use local voice you need to download it again under Setup. Version 1.2.0 can use the name of the source app and nearby text during text transformation to clarify references, preserve names and resolve ambiguous translations. The Use application context feature is off by default and is turned on under Settings → General. When it is on, up to 6 KB of nearby text and the app's name are sent via Heynds' server and OpenRouter to the text model. From version 1.3.0, dictation removes filler words such as uh and euh before the text is pasted or saved in the history, both in online mode and on the device. The list can be changed under Settings, Voice.
